First Day of Preschool

Kailey had a big day this month She started going to Preschool at Teacher Hollie's house. She goes Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours each day. She loves it! It is amazing how quickly she is learning new things. Gianna and I are having fun going to coffee and running as many errands as we can in two hours. (with the drive from Vistancia it is we don't do much!)

MOMS Club Puppet Show and Imagination Ave Field Trip

With the HOT Summers in Phoenix, we are so grateful for MOMS Club! We have so many activities to choose from so we are never stuck home alone in this hear. Here are some highlights from the month.

We went to a great puppet show at a friends house. Her Mom worked for the Phoenix Library and brought a ton of real puppets. They event built a puppet theater in their den. The puppets acted out fairy tales and sang some classic children's songs. My girls we mesmerized!

Later in the month we went to a place called Imaginatin Avenue. It was a 3500 square foot building full of playhouses, climbing structures, dress up rooms and activity centers. The girls played for 3 hours before they started begging for their sippy cups and pacifiers, which always means it is naptime. It is such a great idea for a business.

Gianna's Special Day

When I was pregnant with Kailey my Mom made her a beautiful Christening gown out of her original wedding dress. When Kailey was 8 weeks old and just recovering from a frightening eye infection we held a huge party and my grandpa came out from Texas and Christened Kailey. Well, like most things with Gianna, I didn't get around to doing hers' until much later. My Mom was so worried the dress wouldn't fit, but no surprise to me even at 16 months the gown fit with several inches to still grow in to. Instead of a huge celebration we had an intimate gathering in our backyard with my Grandparents, my Mom, Julie, Nate, Kailey and Gianna. Of course we had to keep big sister happy with plenty of cake after the ceremony.

Fourth of July

My Mom and sister came to visit 4th of July weekend. We tried to go to a neighborhood party during the day, but it was just too hot. The girls made it about 15 minutes and were overheating. We brought their suits so we just went over to the splash pad and ate snow cones and stayed busy until nap time.
We spent the afternoon at a pool party at the Flores' house
